Rachel Widdows Associates was established in 2004 by Rachel Widdows. Since then, we have established an impressive track record and have a portfolio of more than 100 corporate clients. We specialise in environmental management and health and safety management and we utilise the services of other business management consultants that offer complimentary services to ours.
We also provide services for many of the business support providers in London and have assisted them in designing and delivering environmental projects and bespoke training workshops on health and safety and environmental issues.
We think you will like our professional and practical approach to supporting our clients. We have always gone the extra mile to help our clients, big or small and add value to our service through our strong links with business support providers and our network of trusted advisers. We have never advertised our services, but we have always been busy and that speaks for itself.
Rachel Widdows set up Rachel Widdows Associates in 2004, following a successful and varied career in the construction industry and later in consultancy. She cut her teeth in the construction industry in Hong Kong, working on the Chek Lap Kok airport construction project until it opened. A return to London facilitated a change in direction and she worked for some years managing and delivering environmental projects and environmental and health and safety consultancy to Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in the capital.
Currently, she has a large and varied portfolio of clients across many sectors and provides consultancy in sustainability, environmental and health and safety issues, ranging from initial reviews, policies, strategies, procedures and risk assessments, right through to full ISO accreditation. She is well versed in integrated management systems (combining ISO14001/18001/9001) and has helped many clients to achieve accreditation. Rachel has also helped many clients to get them ‘fit-to-tender’, through helping them respond to tenders and drafting policies.
Rachel is also a qualified trainer and delivers workshops for business support providers in London, as well as in-house sessions for businesses that are bespoke to their needs.
Rachel has Master’s degrees in both Chemistry with Environmental Science and Occupational Safety and Health and is a member of both the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment and the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health.
